River Bengaluru-based electric vehicle (EV) startup, introduces the Indie electric scooter for Rs. 1.25 lakh. The Indie electric scooter has a fresh look and many never before seen features. The brand calls it an “SUV of scooters” and claims a range of 120 km.
The River Indie electric scooter’s 4 kWh battery has a 120 km real-world range and can be charged to 80% capacity in 5 hours using a standard charger. Indie’s powerful motor, which has a peak output of 6.7 kW, allows it to travel at a top speed of 90 kmph. It is upgradeable to an 18-degree range. Additionally, it offers three riding choices: Rush, Ride, and Eco. It has a digital instrument cluster, two USB ports, a twin-beam LED headlamp, and reverse park assistance, among other features.
The scooter also has an alloy clip-on handlebar. It has a telescopic front suspension, twin shock absorbers at the back, and 165mm of ground clearance. The scooter has the most storage of any scooter. It has a massive 43L under-the-seat storage and a 12L front glove box. The Lock & Load pannier-stays on the sides, the first of their kind on any type of scooter, offer numerous adaptations to fulfill a variety of needs.
