In a major step towards enhancing electric mobility, PURE EV, a leading Indian electric two-wheeler manufacturer, has partnered with Jio Things, a subsidiary of Jio Platforms. This collaboration aims to integrate advanced telematics and smart digital clusters into PURE EV’s electric vehicles, offering a tech-forward user experience. The partnership will leverage the power of IoT (Internet of Things) and digital solutions to enhance the functionality of electric two-wheelers.

Under the partnership, PURE EV will incorporate JioThings’ 4G connectivity-powered digital clusters into its vehicles. This integration will provide riders with real-time access to key performance data, enriching their riding experience. The advanced system will allow riders to monitor vital parameters, making it easier to understand vehicle performance and maintenance needs.

JioThings’ Smart Digital Cluster, designed on AvniOS, an Android-based operating system, brings additional features like data analytics, customizable interfaces, and touchscreen compatibility. These features are set to streamline the integration of IoT technology into electric two-wheelers, benefiting both users and manufacturers. The goal is to simplify operations while offering a more interactive riding experience.

Furthermore, the collaboration introduces the Jio Automotive App Suite (JAAS), offering a wide range of apps that enhance the connected experience. These include services like JioStore, web browsing, audio streaming, navigation, and voice assistance, along with entertainment options such as gaming, all aimed at making electric vehicle usage more engaging and convenient.

Commenting on the development, PURE EV’s Founder and Managing Director, Nishanth Dongari, expressed optimism about the partnership, stating that JioThings’ IoT solutions would significantly enhance their products. Ashish Lodha, President of Jio Platforms, echoed similar sentiments, emphasizing the vision of both companies to innovate the electric vehicle sector and offer customers a cutting-edge, connected experience.
