Ultraviolette Automotive has launched the X-47 Venom electric motorcycle in India at an introductory starting price of ₹2.65 lakh. The motorcycle is the first model built on the company’s new VX-100 100V platform. The introductory price applies to the first 5,000 customers. Bookings opened on October 22, 2026, and deliveries are scheduled to begin in November 2026.

The X-47 Venom is powered by a 30 kW electric motor that produces 550 Nm of torque at the wheel. The company claims a top speed of 155 km/h and acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds. The motorcycle is available with different battery capacities, with the 11 kWh variant offering a claimed Indian Driving Cycle (IDC) range of up to 343 km. The base variant weighs 180 kg.

The VX-100 platform combines the UV LIGHTFURY motor, SRB-11 battery technology and an upgraded motor control unit. According to Ultraviolette, the battery technology offers up to 20% higher energy density and twice the cooling performance. Its thermal management system is designed to dissipate heat up to 50% faster. These developments are intended to improve battery performance and thermal management.

The motorcycle supports DC fast charging at up to 12 kW and features a 1.6 kW onboard charger. Its battery system includes IP67-rated protection and a pyro-fuse safety mechanism designed to isolate the electrical circuit when a critical fault is detected. These features form part of the VX-100 platform’s battery protection and charging system.

The X-47 Venom features a 7-inch TFT touchscreen, cruise control and integrated front and rear dashcams. Its UV Hypersense system uses a 77 GHz rear radar to support functions such as blind-spot monitoring, lane-change assistance, overtaking alerts and rear-collision warnings. The motorcycle also includes rear-camera-based parking assistance and Mappls navigation. Feature availability may vary by variant.

Alongside the motorcycle, Ultraviolette has introduced B-MAX, a reusable rider safety vest. The company claims that the vest provides 86% force attenuation and can be reused up to five times. Ultraviolette also plans to showcase the X-47 Venom in Europe at EICMA 2026 in Milan, Italy, on November 3. The VX-100 platform is intended to support the company’s future products across different vehicle segments and markets.
