Numeros Motors has introduced its latest electric scooter, the Diplos Max, priced at ₹1,12,199 (ex-showroom). The new e-scooter marks the company’s expansion into the personal mobility sector and is designed to cater to the growing demand for eco-friendly transportation.
The Diplos Max has undergone rigorous testing, covering 13.9 million kilometers in diverse Indian conditions, ensuring reliability and performance. The scooter features advanced components such as dual disc brakes, LED lighting, and smart features like theft alerts and vehicle tracking, adding to its convenience and safety.
Soundararajan S, Vice President of Engineering at Numeros Motors, highlighted the positive reception of the product in the southern markets, particularly in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The vehicle is entirely designed and manufactured in India, showcasing local innovation and production.
The e-scooter incorporates a square chassis and wider tires, enhancing grip across various terrains. It is built for optimal performance with integrated components, including a battery, motor, and controller, ensuring a seamless riding experience.
Numeros Motors is expanding rapidly, now operating in 14 cities across India. The company plans to extend its dealer network to 170 locations by the end of the 2025-26 financial year, aiming to increase its footprint in the growing electric vehicle market.
The launch of the Diplos Max coincides with the rise of India’s electric vehicle industry, driven by government incentives and consumer awareness about sustainability. The electric two-wheeler segment has seen significant growth, with more consumers opting for eco-friendly options.
