Bajaj has expanded its electric two-wheeler lineup with the launch of the Chetak 3503, the most budget-friendly model in its 35-series range. Priced at ₹1.10 lakh, the scooter blends affordability with performance, making it an attractive option for urban commuters looking to switch to electric mobility.
The Chetak 3503 retains the same chassis as other 35-series scooters and is powered by a 3.5kWh battery, delivering a claimed range of 155 km on a full charge. It also comes equipped with a spacious 35-liter boot and can reach a top speed of 63 kmph. Its structure and styling closely follow the higher-end variants in the series.
In terms of charging, the Chetak 3503 takes about 3 hours and 25 minutes to go from 0% to 80%, slightly longer than its pricier counterparts. It supports two riding modes—Eco and Sport—and features a robust metal body with hill-hold assist, enhancing safety and control on inclines.
Among Bajaj’s offerings, the Chetak 3503 stands as the second most affordable model, following the Chetak 2903, which is priced at ₹98,498 and offers a 2.9kWh battery with a 123 km range. This pricing strategy positions Bajaj to appeal to both first-time EV buyers and those upgrading within the electric segment.
With the Chetak 3503, Bajaj aims to strengthen its foothold in the competitive electric scooter market, offering consumers a cost-effective solution without compromising on essential features. The launch reaffirms the brand’s commitment to accessible and reliable electric mobility for the Indian market.
