Audi has officially launched its all-electric Q6 e-tron series, marking a major step in the company’s electric mobility roadmap. Built on the Premium Platform Electric (PPE), the Q6 e-tron combines advanced EV technology with a strong commitment to sustainability in both product and production.
The Q6 e-tron series includes the Q6 e-tron and SQ6 e-tron models, offering high-performance features, advanced digital cockpit experiences, and enhanced range capabilities. Audi emphasized that the new models are the first to be fully developed at its Ingolstadt site — which is now also home to the brand’s first in-house battery assembly facility.
With a range of up to 625 kilometers and rapid charging capabilities (up to 270 kW), the Q6 e-tron aims to deliver everyday practicality alongside cutting-edge electric performance. The models feature dual motors, all-wheel drive, and a newly designed infotainment system powered by Android Automotive.
Audi is placing a strong focus on sustainability throughout the Q6 e-tron’s lifecycle. The vehicle is produced using green electricity, and materials like recycled aluminum and plastics are incorporated into its design. The battery assembly process itself also follows strict environmental standards to reduce carbon emissions.
The Q6 e-tron series represents a major milestone in Audi’s transition toward becoming a fully electric brand by 2033. As part of the Volkswagen Group, Audi is accelerating its push into the premium EV segment while aligning with global climate targets and consumer demand for cleaner transport.
The vehicles are expected to hit global markets in the coming months, with deliveries beginning in Europe before expanding to North America and Asia. Audi says the Q6 e-tron will set new benchmarks for luxury electric SUVs in both performance and sustainability.
