Delta Electronics is spearheading India’s transition to electric mobility with its comprehensive 360° smart infrastructure strategy, focusing on sustainable and intelligent EV charging solutions. The company has achieved a significant milestone by deploying over 6,000 EV chargers across the country, collaborating with key stakeholders such as Tata Power, BESCOM, BPCL, and EESL to enhance the nation’s EV charging network.
In a strategic move to bolster EV infrastructure, Delta Electronics India has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Tata Motors and ThunderPlus Solutions. This partnership aims to install up to 250 new fast-charging stations for light commercial vehicles across 50 Indian cities, including major urban centers like Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru.
Demonstrating its commitment to innovation, Delta unveiled a microgrid-based Green EV Charging Station at ELECRAMA 2023. This integrated solution combines EV chargers, energy storage systems, PV inverters, and an EV Charging Infrastructure Management System to provide clean electricity to EVs while stabilizing the grid.
Furthering its support for India’s EV ecosystem, Delta Electronics India inaugurated a state-of-the-art E-Mobility Tech Experience Center. This facility serves as a platform to showcase advanced charging solutions, including the DC City Charger and AC Max, and aims to educate stakeholders on the EV charging ecosystem.
At ELECRAMA 2025, Delta introduced its 240kW DC Fast EV Charger, designed to deliver 95% energy conversion efficiency and support dual-vehicle fast charging. This high-capacity charger is tailored for commercial fleets and public charging networks, reinforcing Delta’s commitment to enhancing India’s EV infrastructure.
Through these initiatives, Delta Electronics is not only expanding India’s EV charging capabilities but also aligning with the government’s vision for a sustainable and electric future. By integrating smart energy solutions and fostering collaborations, Delta is playing a pivotal role in shaping the country’s e-mobility landscape.
