JBM Electric Vehicles made its official European debut with the launch of its flagship electric bus, the Ecolife, at the UITP Global Public Transport Summit 2025 held in Barcelona, Spain. The move marks a milestone in the company’s global ambitions, showcasing India’s growing influence in the electric mobility sector.

The Ecolife electric bus, developed with a focus on sustainability, innovation, and passenger comfort, is designed to meet European transport standards. It features zero emissions, enhanced battery technology, and a lightweight structure to support efficient urban transit. The vehicle also incorporates intelligent telematics and real-time diagnostics, reflecting JBM’s commitment to smart mobility solutions.

Speaking at the launch, Nishant Arya, Vice Chairman and MD of JBM Group, emphasized the importance of this milestone. “Our entry into the European market represents not just growth, but a commitment to contribute to global decarbonization goals through clean and efficient public transport,” Arya stated. He also highlighted the potential for collaboration with European cities in advancing electric mobility infrastructure.

The UITP Summit, a key international event in the public transport sector, provided the ideal platform for JBM to display its electric mobility innovations. The Ecolife garnered attention from policymakers, city transport authorities, and fleet operators across the continent. The company aims to leverage this momentum to establish a strong foothold in the European market over the coming years.

JBM’s current global footprint spans over 15 countries, and this debut signals a strategic push into one of the world’s most competitive EV markets. The company plans to align with local regulatory and operational frameworks while offering tailored solutions for public transit agencies in Europe.

With sustainability becoming a global imperative, JBM’s expansion into Europe is seen as a timely move. The Ecolife launch not only positions JBM as a credible international EV player but also signals India’s evolving role in the global electric vehicle supply chain. The company aims to continue developing world-class technologies while promoting the adoption of clean mobility worldwide.
