Oben Electric has announced the official unveiling of its updated electric motorcycle, the next‑generation Rorr EZ, on August 5, 2025, with deliveries slated to begin from August 15.
The upgraded model retains its commuter-first heritage while incorporating refined styling, ergonomic enhancements, and enhanced usability features. Oben positions the new Rorr EZ as a “bold evolution” rather than a mere refresh, aimed at solving everyday challenges faced by urban riders.
Powertrain architecture remains consistent: the bike uses Oben’s in-house LFP (lithium iron phosphate) battery, designed to be 50% more heat-resistant and lasting twice as long as conventional cells. It continues to deliver quick charging (0–80% in just 45 minutes), up to 175 km of IDC range, and a top speed of 95 km/h, along with rapid acceleration off the line.
The Rorr EZ’s real-world appeal has stemmed from its user-friendly design: a gearless, clutch-free ride that minimizes vibration and heating while offering agile handling. The new model deepens this practicality, adding sharper design lines and advanced rider-centric upgrades without compromising on its core DNA.
Oben confirmed that bookings will open on the launch date (August 5), with deliveries beginning August 15 — underscoring confidence in the product’s market readiness and pent-up demand for electric commuter motorcycles.
The enhancements in comfort, features, and styling reflect Oben’s broader ambition: to deliver an accessible, high-tech electric commuter bike tailored for India’s urban riders. With its refined next‑gen Rorr EZ, the brand is stepping up its bid to lead in the rapidly growing daily electric mobility segment.
