Blue Energy Motors (BEM) has announced the appointment of Anand Mimani as the Chief Executive Officer for its EV and New Energy vertical. In this role, he will lead strategy, product development, partnerships, and operations for one of the company’s most critical growth areas. Mimani will report directly to Anirudh Bhuwalka, Founder and Managing Director of BEM.
The move signals BEM’s serious push into electric heavy-duty trucks, clean energy corridors, and energy-as-a-service solutions. With EV and New Energy now operating as a dedicated vertical, the company aims to scale faster and strengthen its position in the zero-emission freight sector.
Mimani brings more than 26 years of experience in the mobility and clean-tech industries. Prior to this, he was the CEO of GreenLine Mobility Solutions, where he oversaw the deployment of India’s largest LNG-powered truck fleet. Under his leadership, the initiative helped cut thousands of tonnes of CO₂ emissions and earned recognition for advancing sustainable logistics.
Sharing his vision, Mimani said he was excited to take on the challenge of building a future-ready, clean, and efficient freight ecosystem with BEM. His focus will be on innovation, scalability, and delivering sustainability without compromising performance.
For Blue Energy Motors, this appointment comes at a time when the company is expanding rapidly into next-generation freight solutions. Bhuwalka highlighted that having an experienced leader at the helm of the EV and New Energy business will help accelerate growth and sharpen execution.
