Ferrari has officially stepped into the fully electric supercar arena with the introduction of its first all-electric model, the Elettrica, revealed at its Capital Markets Day 2025 in Maranello, Italy. This launch marks a key milestone in Ferrari’s roadmap to balance its legendary performance DNA with sustainable mobility.
The Elettrica is a four-seat coupe powered by a quad-motor system—one motor on each wheel—generating over 1,000 horsepower. Its performance stats are eye-watering: sprinting from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds, hitting a top speed of 310 km/h, and offering a battery range of about 530 km per full charge.
On the tech side, the car comes loaded. Features include ultra-fast charging up to 350 kW, an adaptive active suspension system, independent rear-wheel steering, and even a bespoke sound simulation system that mimics Ferrari’s iconic combustion-engine roar. Inside, high-end luxury materials and modern connectivity ensure comfort doesn’t take a back seat to speed.
Strategically, Ferrari is refining its electrification approach: by 2030, it aims for 20% of its lineup to be all-electric, another 40% hybrids, and the remaining 40% to retain combustion models. This helps balance the transition to electric while preserving heritage and profitability.
The Elettrica is expected to reach customers in late 2026, with more details and variant models being revealed in early 2026. Ferrari is clearly signaling that electric supercars are part of its long-term plan, not just a one-off.
For Ferrari fans and EV-enthusiasts alike, the Elettrica represents more than just another fast car—it’s proof that even in the rarefied world of supercars, sustainability and performance can coexist without compromise.
