Porsche has confirmed that its upcoming all-electric SUV, the Cayenne Electric, will make its global debut via a digital event on 19 November 2025, with a live public appearance scheduled at the Icons of Porsche Festival in Dubai on 22–23 November.
Built on Porsche’s latest electric vehicle architecture, the Cayenne Electric is being billed by the company as the next chapter in the Cayenne nameplate’s history offering “outstanding driving dynamics, excellent long-distance comfort, uncompromising off-road capability and the efficiency of modern Porsche”.
Porsche has emphasised that the launch of the electric version does not replace the existing internal-combustion and plug-in hybrid Cayenne variants, but instead complements them — meaning buyers will continue to have choice across power-trains.
While detailed specifications remain under wraps, Porsche has teased the Cayenne Electric’s strong credentials: advanced charging architecture, enhanced digital connectivity, and performance-driven DNA derived from its motorsport heritage.
The digital world premiere will be livestreamed from 15:00 CET (European time) on 19 November via Porsche’s Newsroom, YouTube channel and LinkedIn. Following that, the vehicle will be showcased live in Dubai in front of media and brand fans.
With global demand for performance electric SUVs gaining traction, Porsche’s strategy with the Cayenne Electric appears aimed at both reinforcing the Cayenne’s premium SUV legacy and advancing its electric-mobility agenda — while retaining flexibility across power-train options.
