Honda Motor has earned global recognition after its WN7 electric motorcycle won the prestigious Gold Award at the iF Design Award 2026. The achievement highlights Honda’s growing focus on electric mobility and its ability to combine advanced engineering with world-class design.

The iF Design Award is regarded as one of the most respected global design competitions, honoring outstanding innovation, creativity, and product excellence. Honda’s WN7 stood out among thousands of international entries due to its futuristic styling and strong engineering concept.

The WN7 electric motorcycle has been developed under Honda’s FUN EV category, representing the company’s vision to deliver exciting electric motorcycles that maintain the thrill of riding while supporting sustainability goals. The model reflects Honda’s long-term strategy toward electrification and carbon neutrality.

One of the most unique aspects of the motorcycle is its structural concept, where the battery pack functions as a core part of the frame. This not only reduces weight but also improves balance and structural strength, while allowing designers to create a clean and modern look.

Performance is another strong point of the WN7, with the electric motorcycle delivering around 50 kW of peak power and close to 100 Nm of torque. According to Honda, this puts the bike in a performance range comparable to mid-capacity conventional motorcycles, ensuring both power and smooth acceleration.

Honda said the recognition reinforces its commitment to innovation, design excellence, and sustainable mobility solutions. As the company continues expanding its electric two-wheeler portfolio, achievements like this are expected to strengthen its position in the rapidly evolving global EV market.
