Audi Hungaria boosts efficiency, prepares for electric motor production

Audi Hungaria has strengthened its production efficiency while maintaining stable output as the company prepares to manufacture electric motors for future electric vehicles. The move reflects Audi’s long-term strategy to support the global transition toward electric mobility.

The company reported consistent production figures, manufacturing more than 1.5 million powertrain units during the year, including both conventional and electric drive systems. Vehicle production also remained steady, highlighting the plant’s strong operational capabilities.

Audi Hungaria is also investing in advanced manufacturing technologies to prepare its facilities for next-generation electric motor production. These upgrades are aimed at improving productivity while supporting the company’s electrification roadmap.

The company emphasized that continuous process improvements and workforce expertise have helped maintain operational stability despite changing market conditions. Management also highlighted the importance of innovation and flexibility in ensuring long-term growth.

The Győr manufacturing facility remains a key part of Audi’s global production network and continues to play a significant role in Hungary’s automotive industry. The plant is considered one of the largest engine production facilities in the world.

Going forward, Audi Hungaria plans to further expand its role in electric mobility by starting production of new electric drive components, reinforcing its commitment to sustainable and future-ready automotive manufacturing.
