EV charging infrastructure company ChargeZone has announced plans to deploy around 1,000 highway EV supercharging stations across India by FY2027. The expansion will be executed through its Dealer Owned Company Operated (DOCO) model to accelerate network growth and support the country’s fast-growing electric mobility ecosystem.

Under the DOCO model, infrastructure partners and site owners will invest in charging assets, while ChargeZone will manage operations, maintenance, and digital network integration. This strategy helps the company scale faster while ensuring efficient utilization of charging infrastructure.

The company is focusing on major national highways and key intercity EV corridors where demand for fast charging is rising rapidly. The planned deployment is expected to improve long-distance EV travel convenience and address range anxiety challenges faced by EV users.

ChargeZone’s supercharging stations are expected to feature high-capacity DC fast chargers designed for electric cars, buses, and commercial fleets. The company has been actively expanding its highway charging network to strengthen intercity electric mobility infrastructure.

The expansion strategy also aligns with India’s broader clean mobility goals and the increasing adoption of electric vehicles across passenger and commercial segments. The company continues to work with OEMs, fleet operators, and mobility partners to strengthen the EV charging ecosystem.

With EV adoption accelerating, ChargeZone’s highway infrastructure expansion is expected to play an important role in building a reliable fast-charging network and supporting India’s transition toward sustainable transportation.
