Nissan has unveiled its all-new NX8 electrified SUV in China, strengthening its commitment toward electrification and smart mobility. Developed under the Dongfeng Nissan partnership, the new SUV targets the growing demand for premium electric vehicles in the Chinese market.

The NX8 comes with two electrified powertrain options, giving customers more flexibility. Buyers can choose between a fully electric (BEV) variant and an extended-range electric (EREV) version, allowing Nissan to attract both pure EV buyers and customers looking for extended driving range.

The fully electric version is expected to deliver strong performance with a powerful electric motor, while the EREV model combines an electric drivetrain with a petrol range extender to improve long-distance usability. This approach helps reduce range anxiety while maintaining efficiency.

Nissan has also equipped the NX8 with advanced charging capability, including fast-charging support aimed at reducing charging time. The electrified SUV is built to support modern EV infrastructure and provide convenience for daily and long-distance travel.

In terms of features, the NX8 offers a modern premium interior with large digital displays, connected car technology, driver assistance features, and a spacious cabin designed for comfort. The design follows Nissan’s latest global styling direction focused on aerodynamics and futuristic appeal.

With this launch, Nissan aims to strengthen its position in China’s rapidly expanding new energy vehicle segment. The NX8 is expected to play a key role in Nissan’s global electrification roadmap and future EV expansion plans.
