JSW MG Motor India has officially launched the all-new MG Majestor in the Indian market with a starting price of ₹40.99 lakh (ex-showroom). Positioned as India’s first D+ segment SUV, the Majestor enters the premium full-size SUV category to compete with models such as the Toyota Fortuner, Jeep Meridian, and Skoda Kodiaq. The SUV is available in both 4×2 and 4×4 automatic variants.
The MG Majestor features a bold exterior design with a large Mosaic Matrix grille, split LED headlamps, connected LED tail lamps, muscular body styling, and 19-inch alloy wheels. Built on a ladder-frame chassis, the SUV measures over 5 metres in length and delivers a commanding road presence designed for both urban driving and off-road adventures.
Inside the cabin, the Majestor offers a premium luxury-focused interior with dual 12.3-inch digital displays, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, panoramic sunroof, 64-colour ambient lighting, and a 12-speaker JBL audio system. The SUV is available in both 6-seat and 7-seat layouts and includes ventilated and massage front seats, three-zone climate control, dual wireless chargers, and connected car technology.
Powering the MG Majestor is a 2.0-litre twin-turbo diesel engine producing 215.5 PS of power and 478.5 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and is offered with both 2WD and advanced 4WD systems. MG has also equipped the SUV with 10 off-road modes, Crawl Control, and segment-first triple differential locks to improve terrain performance.
Safety remains a major highlight of the new Majestor. The SUV comes equipped with Level 2 ADAS, a 360-degree HD camera, Electronic Stability Programme, traction control, multiple airbags, ABS with EBD, and several advanced driver assistance technologies. MG says the vehicle has been designed to deliver enhanced safety, capability, and driving confidence across different road conditions.
With the launch of the Majestor, JSW MG Motor India is strengthening its premium SUV portfolio in India by combining luxury, advanced technology, and off-road capability in one package.
