Porsche India has launched the Cayenne Electric in the Indian market at a starting price of ₹1.77 crore. The fully electric SUV is offered alongside the Cayenne Turbo Electric, which is priced at approximately ₹2.27 crore in India. The electric Cayenne is available with all-wheel drive.
The Porsche Cayenne Electric is powered by a 113 kWh battery and uses an 800-volt electrical architecture. The model produces up to 325 kW (442 PS) and 835 Nm of torque with Launch Control. In normal operation, the Cayenne Electric produces 300 kW (408 PS).
The Cayenne Electric can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds with Launch Control and has a top speed of 230 km/h. Porsche lists a WLTP range of up to 642 km for the Cayenne Electric, depending on the applicable specification and test conditions.
For charging, the Cayenne Electric supports high-power DC charging. Porsche states that the vehicle can reach up to 400 kW of charging power under specified conditions. Under optimal conditions, the maximum DC charging power is 390 kW, while the battery can be charged from 10% to 80% in less than 16 minutes.
The Cayenne Turbo Electric is the higher-performance version of the electric Cayenne. It produces up to 850 kW (1,156 PS) and up to 1,500 Nm of torque with Launch Control. Porsche states that it can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.5 seconds and reach a top speed of 260 km/h. Its WLTP range is up to 623 km.
Both the Cayenne Electric and Cayenne Turbo Electric feature all-wheel drive and Porsche Traction Management. The electric Cayenne range uses Porsche’s 800-volt electrical architecture and 113 kWh high-voltage battery technology. With the India launch, Porsche has added the fully electric Cayenne to its range of Cayenne powertrain options.
