ACME Solar Holdings has commissioned Phase-III of the Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) component of its Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) project in Rajasthan. The commissioning has been carried out through the company’s wholly owned subsidiary, ACME Greentech Seventh Private Limited.
The Phase-III BESS has a discharge capacity of 53.63 MW and energy storage capacity of 214.52 MWh. The latest phase was commissioned on September 30, 2026, at the company’s FDRE project in Bikaner, Rajasthan.
The BESS forms part of a larger FDRE project with a total planned BESS discharge capacity of 300 MW and 1,200 MWh. The project is located at Kelan village in Bikaner, Rajasthan, according to the company’s regulatory disclosure.
Following the commissioning of Phase-III, ACME Greentech Seventh Private Limited has reached a cumulative commissioned BESS capacity of 159.58 MW/638.32 MWh. The project is being developed under a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with SJVN Limited.
The Commercial Operation Date (COD) for the newly commissioned Phase-III BESS capacity is scheduled for October 2, 2026. The latest commissioning is part of the phased development of the BESS component associated with the Bikaner FDRE project.
With the latest addition, ACME Solar continues the commissioning of battery energy storage capacity linked to its FDRE projects in Rajasthan. The Phase-III commissioning adds 53.63 MW/214.52 MWh to the BESS capacity of the ACME Greentech Seventh project, taking its cumulative commissioned capacity to 159.58 MW/638.32 MWh.
