NSE-listed lithium battery maker showcases ESS, inverter and EV battery range at Hall 6, Stall D-239; network now spans 950+ dealers and 170+ OEM partners across 22 states

MaxVolt Energy Industries Limited showcased its energy storage and electric mobility battery portfolio on the opening day of the 19th edition of the Renewable Energy India Expo (REI Expo) 2026 at India Expo Centre & Mart, Greater Noida. The company is exhibiting at Hall 6, Stall D-239, and the expo runs until 24 October.

MaxVolt led its showcase with energy storage. It presented rack-type ESS from 4.8 kWh to 60 kWh for homes, solar installations and commercial and industrial (C&I) sites, with battery life of up to 10 years. Alongside these were lithium inverter batteries, the company’s storage inverters, solar batteries, and lithium battery packs for electric two-wheelers and three-wheelers. Together they show MaxVolt’s range across both renewable storage and electric mobility.

REI Expo brings India’s solar and storage ecosystem under one roof, and this year storage is central to that conversation. As solar capacity grows, battery storage is what makes renewable power usable round the clock. The Central Electricity Authority projects India will need about 208 GWh of battery storage by 2029-30. MaxVolt’s showcase answers that need directly: storage that works with solar, from a single home to a factory floor.

MaxVolt has been manufacturing since 2019 and now runs a 2.5 GWh plant at Duhai, Ghaziabad. The company reported FY26 revenue of ₹296.8 crore, up 176% year on year, with profit after tax of ₹24.4 crore. Its network covers 950+ dealers and 170+ OEM partners across 22 states.

In September 2026, MaxVolt held the bhoomi poojan for a planned 10 GWh plant at Khyamai Industrial Estate, Aligarh. The plant represents an investment of ₹700 crore and will be built in two phases of 5 GWh each. When complete, it will take the company’s total capacity to 12.5 GWh and is expected to create 1,500 to 2,000 direct jobs. The plant is designed to meet growing demand across all of MaxVolt’s segments, including dedicated lines for OEM partners. The company’s roadmap also includes a planned entry into four-wheeler EV batteries and continued battery management system (BMS) research with IIT Roorkee. Through its recycling subsidiary, MaxVolt ReEarth, the company is building a circular approach to the batteries it makes.

Mukesh Gupta, Co-Founder and Chief Marketing Officer, MaxVolt Energy Industries Limited, said: “REI Expo is where the people building India’s renewable future come looking for partners they can rely on. Our message this year is clear: MaxVolt makes storage for every scale, from a home to a factory floor, alongside the EV batteries our partners already know us for. Our dealers and OEM partners have taken us to 22 states. The conversations at our stall, with installers, EPC firms and distributors, tell us the market is ready to move from lead-acid to lithium, and we are ready to meet it.”

Bhuvneshwar Pal Singh, Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer, MaxVolt Energy Industries Limited, said: “FY26 gave us a strong base. As we move through the second half of FY27, our focus is disciplined, profitable growth: making full use of our Duhai capacity, deepening our dealer and OEM network, and building Aligarh in phases so that new capacity comes up in step with demand. Energy storage is a growing part of that plan, and we expect it to play a larger role in our business in the years ahead.”
