Hoymiles has introduced its MIS 6-in-1 microinverter, model MIS-3680-W, to the Indian market at the Renewable Energy India (REI) Expo 2026. The company also showcased its solar and energy storage solutions for residential, commercial and industrial (C&I), and utility-scale applications. Hoymiles Founder and CEO Dr. Yang Bo and Vice President Guy Rong attended the event.
Designed for Indian rooftops, the MIS-3680-W connects up to six photovoltaic (PV) modules to a single microinverter. It features two independent maximum power point trackers (MPPTs) and supports unbalanced configurations of zero to three PV modules per input. The unit provides conversion power of up to 2,200 W per channel, allowing flexible configurations for different rooftop layouts.
The microinverter incorporates dynamic power adjustment technology that can shift power utilisation between its two inputs in over-paneling scenarios. When shading reduces the output of one PV string, the other input can use available capacity to capture more solar energy. According to Hoymiles, this technology helps reduce shading-related energy losses and improve the utilisation of available solar power.
For outdoor operation, the MIS-3680-W features IP67 protection, a dual-sided heat dissipation design and an AC operating voltage range of 160–295 V. These specifications are intended to support operation under demanding outdoor conditions and help the microinverter maintain performance amid voltage fluctuations. The product comes with a 12-year standard warranty and support from an India-based technical team.
For installation and monitoring, the microinverter supports the Flex-S3 cable system and Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. Through the S-Miles Cloud platform, installers can remotely monitor system performance and diagnose faults. For multi-unit installations, Wi-Fi Mesh technology enables one-touch network configuration and synchronised settings across devices. Hoymiles states that this technology delivers 70% faster commissioning.
Alongside the MIS 6-in-1 microinverter, Hoymiles showcased five energy solution categories: residential solar and storage, plug-in storage with AI-powered energy management, liquid-cooled C&I solutions, utility-scale solar and storage, and power conversion systems (PCS). The company is also strengthening its presence in India through regional distributor partnerships and an expanding sales and service network to support customers, installers and project developers.
