Sineng Electric showcased its solar, energy storage and hydrogen power supply solutions at the Renewable Energy India Expo (REI) 2026. The company presented technologies focused on grid stability, operational flexibility and renewable energy integration. Its portfolio includes grid-forming energy storage systems, utility-scale solar inverters, commercial and industrial (C&I) solar-plus-storage solutions, and power supply systems for hydrogen production.
For utility-scale battery energy storage projects, Sineng Electric showcased its 1.25/1.725 MW central power conversion system (PCS) and 430 kW liquid-cooled string PCS. The central PCS supports grid-forming operation in weak grids with a short-circuit ratio (SCR) of at least 1.1. It provides overload capability of 1.5 times the rated current for 10 seconds, adjustable inertia response and wide-band impedance. The system also supports plant-level black start and seamless transitions between grid-following and grid-forming modes. The 430 kW grid-forming string PCS uses liquid cooling and cluster-level energy management, reducing auxiliary power consumption by 30% and insulated-gate bipolar transistor (IGBT) temperature rise at full load by 5 K.
The company also presented its 510 kW string inverter and 2.4 MW central inverter for utility-scale solar photovoltaic (PV) projects. The 510 kW string inverter supports a maximum DC input voltage of 1,650 V and an AC output voltage of 1,000 V. Its protection features include maximum power point tracking (MPPT)-level insulation monitoring, real-time terminal temperature monitoring, AFCI 2.0 arc-fault detection and an integrated smart disconnector. Designed to operate at ambient temperatures of up to 60°C, it also features grid-forming functionality and AI-driven power generation forecasting. The 2.4 MW central inverter supports PV arrays of 19.2 MW and above and delivers full-rated output at ambient temperatures of up to 52°C. It is designed for sand- and dust-prone environments and supports weak-grid operation through grid-forming technology, with overload capability of 1.5 times the rated current for 10 seconds, adjustable inertia response and wide-band impedance control.
For commercial and industrial applications, Sineng Electric showcased its 75–125 kW three-phase hybrid inverter, battery solutions and 100–150 kW three-phase on-grid inverter. The SN75-125HT hybrid inverter supports on-grid and off-grid switching within 10 milliseconds. It delivers 200 kW of peak power within 200 milliseconds and supports 150% overload for up to 10 seconds. The inverter also includes a built-in diesel generator interface for hybrid and off-grid applications. An integrated smart disconnector and Type I+II DC surge protection devices provide additional protection.
Sineng Electric also presented its hydrogen production power supply solutions, ranging from 1.425 MW to 5.7 MW, for alkaline (ALK), proton exchange membrane (PEM) and anion exchange membrane (AEM) electrolyzers. The systems support electrolyzer capacities of 250–3,000 Nm³/h and a DC output voltage range of 0–820 V. The company reported maximum efficiency of 97.5%, an operating load range of 10%–110% and DC voltage ripple below 1%. These specifications describe the operating capabilities of the company’s hydrogen production power supply portfolio.
During REI 2026, Sineng Electric signed separate 1.5 GW string inverter distribution agreements with Impulse Green Energy and OSG Oriana in India. The two agreements represent a combined capacity of 3 GW and are intended to strengthen the company’s distribution network in the Indian market. The agreements company’s showcase of solar, energy storage and hydrogen power supply technologies at the event.
