Bluebird Solar Private Limited is strengthening its presence in the clean energy sector with the introduction of its Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) portfolio, featuring energy storage solutions based on immersion cooling technology.

As battery energy storage adoption expands, thermal management has become an important consideration for system performance, operational reliability, and safety. Maintaining suitable battery temperatures is essential, particularly in installations operating under demanding environmental conditions.

Recognising this requirement, Bluebird Solar has introduced two featured energy storage solutions: a 208.99 kWh Immersion Cooling Mobile Energy Storage Vehicle and the ePower T2 Immersion Cooling Containerized Energy Storage System.

Immersion cooling is a thermal management approach in which battery components are immersed in a specialised dielectric fluid. The fluid absorbs heat generated during battery operation, helping regulate temperature and support thermal stability.

Unlike conventional air-based cooling approaches, immersion cooling brings the cooling medium into direct contact with the battery components. This approach is designed to improve heat transfer and manage thermal conditions within the energy storage system.

The company’s new portfolio is intended to address both mobile and stationary energy storage requirements. Its solutions are positioned for applications across commercial and industrial facilities, utility-scale projects, residential energy systems, and telecom infrastructure.

This technology-focused expansion forms part of Bluebird Solar 2.0, the company’s broader strategy to move beyond solar module manufacturing and participate in the development of integrated clean energy solutions.

With a focus on advanced cooling systems, modular scalability, and operational reliability, Bluebird Solar is expanding its capabilities in India’s growing battery energy storage market.
