At present, Yuma Energy provides its battery-swapping services to more than 100,000 electric two-wheeler users, performing over one million swaps every month. With an average battery change time of less than a minute, the business touts an astonishing 99% uptime for its swapping stations.

Yuma Energy just opened for business in Hyderabad, Telangana, expanding its footprint in ten Indian cities and hoping to capture more market share.

Currently, Yuma Energy offers its battery-swapping services to over 100,000 owners of electric motorcycles, doing more than a million swaps each month. The company boasts an astounding 99% uptime for its changing stations, with an average battery change taking less than a minute.

With its recent opening in Hyderabad, Telangana, Yuma Energy is aiming to increase its market share by extending its presence into ten Indian cities.

Yuma Energy attributes its strong operational results to its technological prowess and astute use of data. The company effectively manages its vast battery swapping network by using proprietary data models and linked systems.

Yuma Energy has formed strategic alliances with a number of important public and commercial organizations in an effort to grow its network. The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation, Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited, BSES Rajdhani Power Limited, BSES Yamuna Power Limited, Indian Railways, Adani Electricity, and the Municipal Corporation of Delhi are some of these partners.

India’s two-wheeler electric vehicle (EV) market is growing quickly due to rising gasoline prices, growing environmental consciousness, and alluring government incentives. In India’s transition to more environmentally friendly transportation options, this industry is essential, especially given that a sizable portion of the country’s car fleet is made up of two-wheelers.

Electric scooters and motorcycles are being introduced by a number of well-known automakers as well as up-and-coming entrepreneurs, and the market is currently bustling with activity. The majority of these types come with fixed batteries, which save initial costs and simplify construction but are fixed in place and not easily removable for charging. In cities with limited access to personal charging stations, this fixed battery arrangement presents unique issues. Owners frequently experience the annoyance.
