The Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) will host MobilityX 2024, one of the electric vehicle (EV) industry’s highly anticipated exhibitions and summits from October 9–11, 2024. This event will bring together global leaders, innovators, and policymakers to discuss the future of clean mobility. MobilityX will showcase the most recent developments in the clean mobility market, foster innovative collaborations, and spark conversations that will influence Southeast Asia’s mobility scene. It is being held in conjunction with the International Greentech & Eco Products Exhibition & Conference Malaysia (IGEM) and the Clean Energy Technology Asia (CETA) summit.

MobilityX 2024 will act as a prime forum for stakeholders to exchange ideas on EV trends, technological breakthroughs, and policy frameworks that are propelling the sector forward, as Southeast Asia positions itself as a burgeoning worldwide powerhouse for the electric vehicle industry. There will be ground-breaking technologies from OEM automakers, energy providers, government agencies, and tech innovators at the event, which will cater to the increasing need for clean and sustainable mobility solutions.

As stated in the National Energy Transition Roadmap (NETR), which names green mobility as a fundamental component of the nation’s sustainable development strategy, MobilityX 2024 will be essential to advancing Malaysia’s goals. The event will demonstrate how Malaysia’s aim of reaching net-zero carbon emissions by 2050 may be aligned with the operationalization of a low-carbon transport system by the developing EV ecosystem.

Mel Lanvers-Shah, CEO of The Co_Lab Pte Ltd, the owner and organizer of the event, stated, “Electric vehicles are steering nations towards a cleaner future, and Malaysia has the right foundations in place to build a low-carbon transport infrastructure.” “We are well on our way to making Southeast Asia a leader in future mobility with the help of programs like MobilityX and cooperation among industry leaders.”

MobilityX 2024 is a dynamic platform for innovation that will include product launches, interactive exhibitions, and expert panels at the concurrent CETA Summit that will address the newest innovations influencing mobility in the future. EV charging infrastructure advances, the use of connected and autonomous vehicles to reduce emissions and change urban transportation are just a few of the topics that will be covered. Other topics include the integration of electric vehicles into smart cities.

MobilityX 2024 will showcase technology innovations as well as industry collaborations and partnerships that are critical to expediting the worldwide electric vehicle (EV) transition. OEMs, Mobility Innovators, After Market Suppliers, and Technology Providers will get the chance to network and have strategic conversations that tackle the potential and problems facing the clean mobility industry.
