Accelerated Money For U (AMU) and LeafyBus, an electric bus operator based in New Delhi, have made a significant contribution to sustainable transportation with the launch of their first fleet of 10 electric buses for interstate travel. The buses, which will be financed by AMU, would initially be utilized on busiest routes, such as the Delhi-Dehradun corridor. This project is a significant step towards India’s transition to green mobility.
India’s increasing emphasis on eco-friendly transportation solutions, particularly in the electric vehicle (EV) industry, is reflected in the cooperation. By addressing the demand for cleaner mobility on well-traveled routes, LeafyBus and AMU seek to significantly lower the carbon footprint associated with long-distance travel while offering clients an inexpensive method of transportation.
Many elements of LeafyBus’s most recent electric buses prioritize the security and well-being of their occupants. Every bus features CCTV surveillance, real-time tracking devices, and a designated “Bus Buddy” to assist passengers during their journey. Apart from its immaculate and comfortable interior designed to make traveling easier, the buses are fitted with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and Driver Monitoring Systems (DMS) to meet the strictest safety standards.
