Hero MotoCorp, the world’s largest manufacturer of motorcycles and scooters, sold 679,091 units in October 2024, up 18% from 574,930 units sold in the same month the year before. This development was attributed to strong demand from both urban and rural markets, especially during the holiday season in the 100cc and 125cc classes.

Hero MotoCorp’s electric vehicle brand, VIDA, achieved its largest monthly dispatches to date in October 2024, with 8,750 units sold. The company’s Grand Indian Festival of Trust (GIFT) campaign, “Shubh Muhurat Aaya, Hero Saath Laya,” included enticing offers that increased sales throughout the holiday season. The company recorded its highest-ever Dhanteras revenues, with double-digit growth over the previous year.

The company has been expanding its network of premium dealerships, currently running more than 50 in as many cities, with the goal of reaching 100 Premia stores by March. In October, Premia established nine new storefronts across different locations to increase accessibility to its luxury product assortment, which includes Hero MotoCorp, VIDA, and Harley-Davidson items.

The company’s new Hero Xtreme commercial campaign features international cricket player Virat Kohli. The campaign, which focused on the brand’s “Challenge the Extreme” tagline and was directed by Oliver in Germany, highlighted the Xtreme 125R and Xtreme 160R 4V motorcycles. London was the scene.

Hero MotoSports achieved a noteworthy feat by being the first Indian manufacturer to win the 2024 FIM World Rally-Raid Championship (W2RC). In order to win the championship and make the company one of the main worldwide competitors, Ross Branch’s consistent play throughout the season was essential.
