Mahindra is getting ready for a significant milestone in its electric vehicle lineup with the launch of two new electric SUVs, the XEV 9e and BE 6e. These vehicles will make their world debut at the “Unlimit India” event in Chennai on November 26, 2024.
These new models are Mahindra’s first cars built on its innovative “INGLO” architecture, an electric platform equipped with state-of-the-art technology and designed to meet global standards. The INGLO platform is expected to offer great performance, safety advancements, and an efficient electric range to enhance the driving experience.
The XEV 9e and BE 6e signify Mahindra’s foray into the premium and performance electric car segments. The BE 6e, according to Mahindra, has strong, performance-driven characteristics, while the XEV 9e is made to set new standards for electric luxury. Mahindra claims that these vehicles are “Indian icons” ready to make their mark on the global scene thanks to their distinctive designs and cutting-edge technology.
“With INGLO, we’re fusing Indian sensibilities with a world-class perspective,” said a Mahindra spokesman.
As a high-end substitute for the XUV400, the BE 6e will go up against cars like the Tata Curvv, MG ZS EV, and MG Windsor EV. In the meanwhile, the XEV 9e will face competition from the soon-to-be-released Tata Harrier EV.
