The ninth iteration of the Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India’s (ACMA) premier reverse buyers-and-sellers convention, iAutoConnect, was successfully conducted in Yashobhoomi, New Delhi. Ms. Shradha Suri Marwah, President, ACMA & CMD, Subros, and Mr. Vimal Anand, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Commerce, officially opened the event, which was organized with assistance from the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India. The government’s dedication to enhancing India’s position in the international auto component market was emphasized by both leaders.
Leading Indian component makers used the two-day exhibition as a crucial stage to demonstrate their capabilities to international aftermarket distributors and dealers. Over 170 buyers from over 40 countries, including Africa, ASEAN, Eastern Europe, Latin America, SAARC, and West Asia, joined 91 domestic exhibitors at this year’s iAutoConnect.
The high production standards, technological know-how, and competitiveness of India’s auto component sector were all explored by visiting customers at iAutoConnect 2024.
According to ACMA President Shradha Suri Marwah, “iAutoConnect has developed into a leading platform for the Indian automotive component industry, providing unmatched access to global markets.” Seeing how strongly our members and foreign purchasers are participating is encouraging. In line with the government’s goal of ‘Made in India for the world,’ we are optimistic that these exchanges will lead to successful collaborations that increase the global market for Indian-made components”.
