VinFast increased its 2024 sales total to over 51,000 EVs by delivering over 11,000 EVs in October. This achievement has made VinFast the top-selling automobile brand in Vietnam for October and the first 10 months of 2019. VinFast continued its strong performance in October, delivering over 11,000 EVs, a 21% increase from the previous month. The VF 3 and VF 5 models were the greatest sellers, selling almost 5,000 and over 2,600 units, respectively.
Since the start of the year, the business has sent over 51,000 EVs to Vietnam. With a large number of pre-orders, more production capacity, and a growing network of dealerships and charging stations, VinFast is well-positioned to maintain its dominant market share and grow its lead over competitors.
VinFast’s success of overtaking worldwide rivals in just over five years to become the top-selling automobile brand in its own market is impressive. It also became the first electric car brand to dominate the market, surpassing gasoline-powered vehicles within two years of transitioning to an all-electric lineup.
This growth illustrates Vietnam’s dominance in the high-tech sector and how well VinFast’s eco-friendly vehicles are appreciated by consumers. Because of the company’s success, Vietnam is one of the few countries where an indigenous EV brand controls the majority of the automobile market.
