Beam Global has signed its first sponsorship deal with Globos Osiguranje, one of Serbia’s top insurance companies. Globos Osiguranje has sponsored five EV ARCTM solar-powered EV charging stations as part of this partnership. These stations are currently located at Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport, Serbia’s primary international travel gateway, and will provide free public EV charging.
In order to support this sponsored Driving on Sunshine initiative, Beam Global previously secured an agreement with Belgrade Airport, a division of VINCI Airports, an operator of over 70 airports in 14 countries worldwide, to operate the network in strategic locations at Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport. There will be consideration for further cooperation with VINCI Airports.
Five solar-powered EV ARCTM units are currently available for public EV charging at the Belgrade Airport. Each off-grid device’s capacity to charge numerous vehicles at once makes it a reliable and sustainable choice for the crowded airport setting. The systems are located in P1, Prime, the closest parking lot to the terminal building.
“We are proud to be at the forefront of developing sustainable energy solutions in Serbia with this sponsorship with Beam Global,” said Siniša Pratljačić, CEO of Globos Osiguranje. “By supporting EV ARCTM products at one of Serbia’s most well-known venues, we are significantly advancing our commitment to environmental responsibility and green innovation.”
This first-of-its-kind partnership not only enhances Serbia’s green infrastructure but also demonstrates how Beam Global can leverage owner-operator and sponsorship models to expand its unique EV charging solutions globally.
