Revolt Motors flagship models, the RV400 and RV400 BRZ, have made their debut in Sri Lanka. The event, which was held at Water’s Edge, was a positive step in promoting eco-friendly forms of transportation nationwide.
The first dealership has been constructed on Maradana Road in Colombo, with plans to expand operations over 11 more locations, including Kurunegala, Madurankuliya, Matara, Embilipitiya, Elpitiya, Batticaloa, Kirindiwela, Horana, Kelaniya, and Tangalle.
The launch was attended by Anjali Rattan, the chairperson of RattanIndia Enterprises Pvt Ltd, and Bob Kundanmal, the chairman of Evolution Auto, the exclusive distributor of Revolt Motors in Sri Lanka. Both highlighted how innovative and eco-friendly transportation solutions are fueled by electric mobility.
The RV400, designed to appeal to Sri Lankan motorcyclists, has a top speed of 85 km/h and a range of up to 160 km on a single charge. It features three adjustable riding modes—Eco, City, and Sport—as well as an AI-enabled connectivity system and a mobile app interface. These features make an effort to blend performance, technology, and price.
The RV400 can survive a range of weather conditions because of its IP67-rated battery. It also boasts dual disc brakes, an adjustable suspension, a combination braking system, and advanced AI-enabled capabilities. Call alerts, geo-fencing, reverse mode, keyless ignition, GPS support, real-time notifications, and remote start are some of the features that are accessible via a mobile app.
The launch event included live entertainment and RV400 feature demonstrations. It highlighted the motorcycle’s focus on combining practical practicality with technology for long-distance and city transportation. Motorcyclists in Sri Lanka can now test drive these electric models at approved dealerships to learn more about their features and benefits.
