Audi has launched a new variant of its Q4 e-tron electric vehicle, designed to offer better range and more advanced features. The Q4 40 e-tron and Q4 Sportback 40 e-tron are equipped with an improved 63 kWh battery, offering up to 412 km and 423 km of range, respectively. This new model also introduces faster DC charging capabilities, delivering 165 kW for rapid recharging.

The vehicle promises high performance with a 150 kW rear motor capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.1 seconds. Additionally, the Q4 40 e-tron benefits from quicker charging, with the ability to add 150 km of range in just 10 minutes, offering convenience for longer journeys.

Audi has also focused on improving the Q4 e-tron’s charging experience. The MMI system allows for manual battery preconditioning to optimize charging, while the myAudi app helps with predictive maintenance, offering reminders for servicing and updates on key vehicle components.

In terms of connectivity, Audi integrates a new infotainment system that provides access to a wide range of apps, including news and entertainment, without the need for a smartphone. The Q4 e-tron includes a 25 GB data package from Cubic Telecom for seamless connectivity.

The new Audi Q4 40 e-tron starts at €46,150, with the Sportback variant priced from €48,150. Both models come equipped with premium features such as Audi MMI navigation plus, Audi virtual cockpit, and front seat heating, making this new electric vehicle an appealing choice for buyers seeking both performance and affordability. Orders for the new model begin in mid-February 2025.
