BLive, a well-known platform for electric mobility, has unveiled the creative BLive EZY EV Rental Program.
According to the firm, this program, which is specifically designed for last-mile delivery partners, aims to reduce the financial obstacles that couriers encounter while converting to electric vehicles (EVs).
The whole EV industry is brought together by BLive’s AI-powered platform, which includes automakers, demand-setters like Zomato and Swiggy, leading lenders, charging infrastructure suppliers, and a growing community of gig workers. The program encourages the adoption of environmentally friendly transportation options by giving fleet operators—now franchisee partners—the authority to create, manage, and operate fleets. The BLive EZY EV Rental Program addresses the financial challenges faced by delivery staff, particularly the requirement for a high CIBIL score in order to obtain loans. With its flexible terms and low price, the initiative makes the transition to electric vehicles simpler. Delivery partners may easily integrate EVs into their operations thanks to rental rates that start at a reasonable INR 1500 per week.
The “Rent to Own” program: According to a Bangalore-based study by Robas Research Pvt. Ltd., 77% of last-mile delivery riders questioned currently own an electric vehicle (EV), demonstrating a high preference for environmentally friendly transportation. However, financial obstacles such as complex loan applications and high interest rates still exist. In response, BLive launched the program’s “Rent to Own” feature, which enables users to acquire ownership of an EV following a 36-month leasing period. This promotes long-term sustainability and increases public acceptance of environmentally friendly modes of transportation.
A major step in increasing the availability of electric vehicles is the BLive EZY EV Rental Program, which provides users with an affordable and simple way to purchase EVs. The founder of BLive, Samarth Kholkar, said, “This initiative is set to empower riders and substantially cut down urban carbon emissions.”
EVs from reputable manufacturers: Under flexible rental terms, the program offers premium EVs from well-known companies including TVS, Ather, Bounce, and Revolt. Delivery employees can finally purchase these excellent EVs at the end of the rental period thanks to the rent-to-own option, demonstrating BLive’s commitment to encouraging environmentally friendly transportation choices. Notable benefits include:
Significant savings: Fuel costs can be cut by up to 90%. No unstated costs: No extra costs for maintenance or insurance. Complete ownership of the EV after the lease has expired.
Development and next goals: More than 200 EVs are being provided to last-mile couriers as part of the BLive EZY EV Rental Program, which has started in five cities: Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, and Goa. In an effort to electrify last-mile deliveries, BLive is aggressively seeking additional franchisee partners to join them in their goals to roll out 10,000 EVs in the coming year.
According to the corporation, the program will dramatically accelerate the use of electric cars across the country, making last-mile deliveries more economical and environmentally benign.
