An MOU has been signed by Delta Electronics India and ThunderPlus, a prominent supplier of electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions for two-wheelers and three-wheelers. As part of the previously mentioned arrangement, Delta will supply cutting-edge, highly efficient 4kW rectifier modules, manufactured at its new, sizable manufacturing facility in Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu, to enable ThunderPlus’ low voltage fast chargers, which are especially intended for 2W and 3W EVs.

The corporate aim of Delta Electronics India is “to provide innovative, clean, and energy-efficient solutions for a better tomorrow,” according to Mr. Niranjan Nayak, Managing Director. Therefore, our partnership with Thunder Plus highlights Delta’s objective to support India’s EV transition by providing innovative, domestically produced solutions. This milestone has been made possible by our rapidly expanding R&D capabilities in Bengaluru and manufacturing in Krishnagiri.

“This partnership with Delta Electronics brings world-class technology to India’s low-voltage EV charging market,” said Mr. Rajeev YSR, CEO of Thunder Plus. Our adaptable chargers ensure effective and smooth integration into their operations while meeting the specific needs of OEMs and end users. Together, we are laying the groundwork for India to have a strong and long-lasting EV charging network.

This project combines ThunderPlus’ market leadership in EV charging systems with Delta’s technological know-how in power solutions. The chargers are revolutionary for the local EV industry since they are adaptable and made to satisfy India’s various needs. They were created using Delta’s cutting-edge 4kW rectifier modules, which have an energy efficiency of up to 93%.
