Easee, a leading manufacturer of home EV charging solutions, has partnered with energy connectivity platform Enode to unlock the full potential of smart energy services for electric vehicle (EV) users across the globe. This collaboration brings together cutting-edge hardware and advanced software to accelerate the energy transition and simplify electrification for households and the energy system alike.

With more than 850,000 Easee chargers installed across Europe, the company has built one of the largest 4G-connected EV charging platforms on the market. Known for its sleek Scandinavian design and intuitive user experience, Easee has emerged as a go-to brand in the EV sector. Now, thanks to this partnership with Enode, Easee users can seamlessly integrate their chargers into the smart energy apps they already use, or choose from a growing ecosystem of energy providers.

This integration enables access to smart charging, home energy optimisation, dynamic electricity tariffs, and demand response programmes, services that reduce costs, improve energy efficiency and enhance grid stability.

“We built our chargers to be open, connected and ready for the energy system of the future,” said Anthony Fernandez, CEO at Easee. “Enode stood out, sharing our belief that electrification should be effortless. This partnership gives users more control and makes it easier to access the best digital energy services available.”

The partnership also offers clear benefits for energy companies, enabling them to launch EV charging services more quickly and with less operational overhead. It allows energy providers to build and scale innovative services on top of Easee’s infrastructure, driving greater impact and value from existing hardware.

“Easee has built one of the largest connected charger platforms in the world, with the capabilities and scale to help drive the next wave of energy services,” said Morten Strøm, Senior Partnership Manager at Enode. “We’re excited to collaborate closely with Easee and support their mission of making electrification simpler for users and the society.”

Enode’s API platform is already integrated into over 150 smart energy applications across Europe, North America and Oceania. With support for thousands of energy devices, Enode’s technology allows for scalable deployment of smart energy services without the complexity of bespoke technical integrations.

This partnership marks a step forward in turning EV charging from a standalone function into a central part of home energy management. By enabling smarter energy use at the household level, Easee and Enode are helping to optimise energy consumption, reduce emissions, and support grid balancing, key enablers of the clean energy transition.
