EMO Energy has partnered with electric two-wheeler manufacturer e-Sprinto to deploy 8,000 electric scooters across India during the current financial year. The partnership will focus on commercial mobility applications, particularly the quick-commerce and last-mile delivery sectors, where vehicle uptime, reliability and energy efficiency are important for high-utilisation fleet operations.

Under the partnership, e-Sprinto’s electric scooter platforms will be integrated with EMO Energy’s ZenPac liquid-cooled battery technology. The battery platform is designed for commercial electric mobility and combines liquid cooling with active thermal management, battery intelligence and energy optimisation capabilities. The integration is intended to support the operational requirements of electric scooters used extensively by commercial fleets.

EMO Energy said the ZenPac platform is integrated with its charging infrastructure and battery intelligence platform, enabling real-time monitoring, predictive insights and improved energy utilisation. The technology is designed to address commercial EV requirements such as multiple charging cycles, extended operating hours and demanding urban operating conditions.

The planned deployment will include both low-speed and high-speed electric scooter models from e-Sprinto. The 8,000 scooters will be rolled out in phases across multiple Indian cities during the financial year, supporting delivery partners and commercial fleet operators operating in India’s expanding quick-commerce and last-mile delivery ecosystem.

Commenting on the partnership, Sheetanshu Tyagi, Co-Founder and CEO of EMO Energy, said that scaling commercial electric mobility requires vehicle and energy systems to work together around real-world operating conditions. Atul Gupta, Founder and Chairman of e-Sprinto, said the collaboration combines e-Sprinto’s electric vehicle platforms with EMO Energy’s battery technology to address the scale and reliability requirements of commercial mobility.

The partnership comes as EMO Energy continues to expand its commercial EV footprint. During the first quarter of the financial year, EMO-powered fleets covered 93.69 million kilometres, enabled 18.74 million deliveries and delivered 2,810.7 MWh of energy. Its operating fleet also increased from 15,800 vehicles in April to more than 19,000 vehicles by June, highlighting the growing deployment of its energy systems across commercial electric mobility applications.
