Electric mobility company EveyTrans has expanded the electric bus fleet of the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) with the induction of 65 new electric buses in Hyderabad, strengthening the city’s push towards cleaner and more sustainable public transport.

The newly added electric buses have been deployed on key urban routes across Hyderabad and are expected to reduce tailpipe emissions while improving passenger comfort. Officials said the move aligns with Telangana’s broader goals of lowering air pollution and promoting electric mobility in public transport systems.

EveyTrans said the latest fleet expansion builds on its ongoing partnership with TSRTC and reflects growing confidence in electric buses as a reliable solution for mass urban transit. The buses are equipped with modern features designed to enhance safety, efficiency and ride quality for daily commuters.

According to officials, electric buses offer lower operating and maintenance costs compared to conventional diesel buses, while also supporting the state’s climate and sustainability commitments. The transition is expected to result in significant savings on fuel expenses and a reduction in carbon emissions over time.

TSRTC has been steadily increasing the share of electric buses in its fleet as part of efforts to modernise public transport and improve service quality. Hyderabad has emerged as one of the leading Indian cities adopting electric buses under state and national clean mobility initiatives.

EveyTrans said it remains committed to expanding electric bus deployment across Indian cities and supporting public transport agencies with end-to-end electric mobility solutions. The company added that continued collaboration with state transport bodies will play a key role in accelerating India’s shift towards zero-emission public transportation.
