Haryana Roadways will shortly have 375 electric buses in its fleet, according to an official statement. This will allow the business to provide citizens with affordable, safe, convenient, and ecologically friendly public transportation services.

The purchase of buses was authorised by the High Powered Purchase Committee and the Department High Powered Purchase Committee, both of which were presided over by Chief Minister Manohar Lakh Khattar.

Kanwar Pal, Ranjit Singh Chautala, J P Dalal, and Mool Chand Sharma attended the conference.

In November 2022, the Haryana government will implement its electric vehicle (EV) strategy. The policy includes 12 schemes, including electric car charging infrastructure.
