At the international stage of IAA Transportation in Hannover, Germany, ZF, a global technology leader that provides advanced mobility products and systems for passenger cars, commercial vehicles, and industrial technology, and Iveco Bus, the urban, intercity, and tourist bus brand of the Iveco Group, decided to advance their collaboration on deploying creative e-mobility solutions for the decarbonization of passenger transport.

According to both companies, they combine solid technological expertise in alternative energy propulsion solutions, such as electrification, and share the same commitment to transforming the transport sector and leading the change to a more sustainable future.

The company alliance with ZF will benefit Iveco Bus’s overall electrification plan and the development of a new zero-emission-born architecture that will equip the next generation of vehicles, in addition to improving technological capabilities.

“Our dedication to working with creative individuals who are motivated to push the boundaries of technology innovation in support of the energy transition is demonstrated by this new relationship. For the bus sector to meet its decarbonization goals, electrification is a crucial enabler. We will speed the development of the upcoming generation of our e-mobility solutions by strengthening our partnership with ZF, a global technical leader in advanced mobility products and systems,” commented Domenico Nucera, President Bus Business Unit, Iveco Group.
