Out of 63 competitors, the Kia EV9 has been chosen the ‘World’s Best Car for 2024’ at the Women’s Worldwide Car of the Year.

In the electric SUV market, the EV9 has seven seats and cutting-edge technology, including features like ultra-fast charging and bidirectional charging.

Numerous more accolades have been bestowed upon the vehicle, including “German Luxury Car of the Year 2024,” “Top Three in the World” finalist status for the 2024 World Car Awards, and the “Family Cars” category at the Golden Steering Wheel 2023.

Judges at the Women’s Worldwide Car of the Year awards commended the EV9 for being an innovative contribution to the electric car industry due to its affordability and ease of usage. The flagship SUV is made more appealing, particularly in the winter, by the EV9’s cutting-edge technology and aerodynamics. The bidirectional charging feature on Kia lets light shine in the dark.

The globe spins to a point when the sun is veiled in the northern regions of Norway from October to February, providing a surreal setting for the Northern Lights against the ice. However, the sun doesn’t set in the summer from April to August, giving rise to the phenomenon known as the midnight sun. Solar farms face difficulties in these settings, no doubt, but there are also issues with healthcare. A person’s energy levels, immune system, and mental health can all be negatively impacted by a lack of sunshine. Prolonged sunshine, however, can interfere with sleep cycles.

According to David Hilbert, Head of Marketing at Kia Europe, “the EV9 is exciting when moving but also when stationary with innovative features like bidirectional charging.” “With the use of Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) technology, electric vehicles can now be utilized for more purposes in our daily lives, such as camping, serving as a mobile office’s power source, or even connecting to the larger electrical grid.”
