Lectrix EV and FYC Tech Pvt Ltd, also referred to as Jumppers, an inventive last-mile delivery business that operates an electric fleet, have formed a strategic alliance. Lectrix EV will provide 500 electric cars to Jumppers as part of this cooperation, greatly expanding their fleet and ability to satisfy the rising demand for delivery services that are environmentally responsible.
Lectrix EV will build a cutting-edge battery-swapping infrastructure in addition to providing cars to assist Jumppers’ logistical operations. Quick battery substitutions for Jumppers’ electric vehicles are made possible by this network, which is expected to revolutionize the company’s sustainability and operating efficiency. This will maximize their riders’ earning potential by minimizing downtime and eliminating range anxiety.
India’s transportation system is to be electrified, according to Pritesh Talwar, President of EV Business at Lectrix EV. He congratulated Jumppers for their efforts, which are in line with their sustainability aims, and pointed out the logistics industry’s explosive growth. Talwar emphasized the relationship as a critical step toward attaining a sustainable future together and expressed excitement about supporting Jumppers’ expansion of an environmentally friendly fleet.
With a transaction time of less than 50 seconds, consistent energy supply, and the ability to eliminate range anxiety due to a dense network of switch stations spaced out every 5–10 kilometers, the Lectrix EV swap network is advantageous for jumpers. Because there is no need for charging downtime, riders can earn an extra Rs. 200–300 per day thanks to this system, which also increases their earning potential.
Significant progress has been made in lowering carbon emissions with Lectrix EV. In total, it has saved 6.66 million kilos of CO2, or 491 kg per user, by facilitating nearly 2.22 billion kilometers of travel and serving 13,571 people. This demonstrates the business’s dedication to environmental care.
Co-founder of Jumppers Ajay Kumar Khandelwal expressed excitement about growing their fleet. He mentioned that because of their collaboration with Lectrix, Jumppers has expanded to encompass over 500 vehicles by 2024. This growth demonstrates their commitment to effective and sustainable last-mile delivery solutions, utilizing cutting-edge electric vehicle technology to improve client service.
The fleet of Jumppers provides services to a wide range of clients, including well-known businesses like Blue-Dart, DHL, DTDC, Flipkart, and Smart-R. Through this collaboration, Jumppers will be able to provide these important industry participants with efficient and sustainable delivery options, enabling their quick and sensible expansion.
