Maruti Suzuki has announced that it achieved record exports in CY2022. The carmaker claims to have dispatched 2,63,068 units from January-December 2022
Maruti Suzuki’s exports crossed the 2 lakh unit mark for the second consecutive year. Exports grew by 28% over the previous year, during which, 2,05,450 cars were shipped to markets across the world.
Furthermore, Maruti’s exports more than doubled in CY2022 compared to the pre-Covid year (2019). In 2020, exports dropped to 85,208 units.
Maruti Suzuki has been exporting its products since FY1986-87. The carmaker’s first consignment was shipped to Hungary. The brand exports to around 100 countries in Africa, the Middle East, Latin America and ASEAN countries.
