Mercedes-Benz India is set to launch the all-new electric GLC in India on November 4, 2026. The upcoming electric SUV will expand the company’s electric SUV portfolio in the Indian market and introduce its next-generation electric architecture to the country.
The company will commence Expressions of Interest (EOI) for the electric GLC from October 5, 2026. Interested customers will be able to register their interest in the upcoming electric SUV ahead of its official launch in India.
The all-new electric GLC will be locally manufactured at Mercedes-Benz India’s facility in Chakan, Maharashtra. The company said the move reinforces its focus on local manufacturing as it continues to expand its electric mobility portfolio in the Indian market.
According to Mercedes-Benz, the new electric GLC marks the arrival of its next-generation electric SUV architecture in India. The model combines the brand’s SUV design and luxury positioning with electric-drive systems and software-led technologies.
Mercedes-Benz is positioning the electric GLC around versatility, efficiency and an intuitive driving experience. The upcoming model will add another electric SUV to the company’s portfolio as it continues to expand its electric vehicle presence in India.
The launch of the electric GLC follows the introduction of the CLA BEV in India. With the new electric SUV scheduled to arrive on November 4, Mercedes-Benz is set to further expand its presence in the luxury electric vehicle segment.
