In a major boost to electric mobility in the National Capital Region, Noida Power Company Limited (NPCL) in partnership with Servotech has inaugurated Greater Noida’s largest public electric vehicle charging station. The facility was officially opened on 130 Meter Road at Tilpata, Greater Noida on January 30, 2026, marking a significant expansion of EV infrastructure in the region.

The newly launched EV charging station is equipped with multiple fast charging options, featuring two charging points and four charging guns capable of delivering 120 kW and 60 kW power outputs. This setup is designed to support a wide range of electric vehicles – from personal cars to commercial EVs – with faster and reliable charging services that can help reduce waiting times for users.

Officials from both NPCL and Servotech highlighted the importance of such infrastructure in accelerating the adoption of electric mobility. They emphasized that expanding public charging networks is key to supporting India’s transition to cleaner transportation and combating rising pollution levels through sustainable energy solutions.

The inauguration ceremony saw the presence of Hon’ble Dadri MLA Shri Tej Pal Nagar, along with senior leaders from NPCL and Servotech. Mr. Praveen Goyal, Senior Vice President – Commercial at NPCL, and Mr. Nikhil Garg, Deputy General Manager – New Energy Business at NPCL, were among the key attendees. From Servotech, Chief Executive Officer Mr. Prem Prakash also addressed the gathering, reiterating the need for robust EV infrastructure across urban and suburban corridors.

Local industry experts noted that the new station will serve not only private EV owners but also commercial operators, buses, and fleet vehicles due to its high power capacity and strategic location in Greater Noida. This development is expected to encourage more EV adoption in Gautam Buddh Nagar district by providing dependable charging access in a rapidly growing suburban market.

The launch forms part of broader efforts by NPCL and allied partners to scale up EV charging networks across the region. With sustainability and cleaner mobility as core goals, the initiative aligns with government plans and industry commitments to expand electric mobility infrastructure in urban India.
