Quantum Energy has teamed up with energy-technology firm EMO Energy to introduce a new high-performance electric scooter tailored for India’s booming last-mile delivery market. The scooter, named Quantum Bziness EMO, is specifically engineered to meet the rigorous demands of daily commercial logistics and fleet operations across urban and semi-urban regions.
At the core of the Quantum Bziness EMO is EMO Energy’s advanced 2 kWh ZenPac liquid-cooled battery, which promises a real-world range of up to 80 km and a top speed of 50 km/h. The battery system supports rapid recharging in just 20 minutes using EMO’s Swft fast charger, significantly reducing downtime for delivery riders and fleet businesses.
EMO Energy asserts that the ZenPac battery has demonstrated robust real-world performance through over 150 million kilometres of operational data. The technology features active immersion cooling, an advanced energy management system, and a patented active balancing battery management system backed by 25 global patents, all designed to ensure predictable ageing and long-term durability.
The electric scooter is purpose-built for commercial use, featuring a 2,500 W peak hub motor, 12-inch wheels and a combined braking system (CBS) for improved safety and stability. It also offers a payload capacity of up to 200 kg, making it suitable for heavy last-mile delivery requirements and frequent usage throughout the day.
From a service and support standpoint, Quantum Energy brings its extensive nationwide network to the partnership, with more than 100 service touchpoints across India to assist both fleet operators and independent riders. The company has also started operations at a new six-acre manufacturing facility in Maheshwaram, which will be expanded in phases to scale production to 20,000 units per month by mid-2027.
Together, Quantum Energy and EMO Energy aim to deploy 10,000 Quantum Bziness EMO scooters over the next year, strengthening delivery-sector electrification and supporting India’s broader shift toward sustainable, clean mobility solutions.
