Refex Mobility, the clean mobility arm of Refex Group, has officially launched operations in the Delhi National Capital Region (NCR), marking a significant step towards promoting sustainable corporate transportation. The company plans to deploy over 400 new clean-fuel four-wheeler electric vehicles in the region within the next three months, aiming to decarbonize corporate commuting in northern India.
The expansion event was inaugurated by Union Minister of New and Renewable Energy, Prahlad Joshi, who emphasized the importance of solar-powered charging infrastructure for electric vehicles. He urged corporates to adopt solar-based charging for their EV fleets to reduce oil imports, cut emissions, and build greener, healthier cities in line with their Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) commitments.
Currently, Refex Mobility operates a fleet of over 1,400 all-electric vehicles across major Indian cities such as Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Mumbai. The company provides clean and efficient transportation services to more than 70 leading corporates across industries, including Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI), Information Technology/Information Technology Enabled Services (IT/ITES), telecommunications, e-commerce, and startups.
With its entry into Delhi NCR, Refex Mobility aims to create one of the largest corporate clean-mobility fleets in the region, enhancing accessibility to sustainable transport for both large enterprises and growing startups. The company’s advanced transport management system and focus on operational excellence have already helped it achieve a CO₂ emission reduction of 3.5 million kilograms since inception.
Anil Jain, Chairman and Managing Director of Refex Group, emphasized the company’s long-term sustainability vision, stating that Delhi NCR is not just an expansion but a commitment to scale. He highlighted that within a couple of quarters, Refex Mobility aims to create one of the largest corporate clean-mobility fleets in the region.
Anirudh Arun, CEO of Refex Mobility, echoed this sentiment, stating that the company’s promise is built on three pillars—dependable fleets that corporates can count on, exceptional experiences for every rider, and a deep commitment to sustainability and their driver partners. With the entry into Delhi NCR, Refex Mobility aims to shape a cleaner and more trusted future for urban mobility.
Refex Mobility’s expansion into Delhi NCR reflects a broader trend of corporate adoption of clean transportation solutions across India. As the country accelerates its EV adoption targets, partnerships between private players and government initiatives are proving essential to developing a robust, low-emission mobility network.
