REPLUS Engitech, a subsidiary of HEG Advanced Materials, will showcase its energy storage systems (ESS), electric vehicle (EV) and hybrid solutions at The Battery Show India 2026. The exhibition is scheduled to take place from October 22 to 24 at the India Expo Centre & Mart in Greater Noida. The company will present its work in indigenous battery technology and advanced manufacturing as it prepares to expand its domestic manufacturing capacity and reach larger markets.

REPLUS Engitech’s planned manufacturing expansion in India aims to meet future demand and strengthen local production of energy storage solutions. The expansion will also support the company’s role as a technology and supply chain partner for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). The company is focused on developing battery solutions that are safe, reliable and scalable for Indian operating conditions.

Hiren Pravin Shah, Managing Director and CEO of REPLUS Engitech, said that India’s energy transition will require domestic technology and manufacturing capabilities to meet long-term demand. He said the company is preparing to expand its engineering and manufacturing capabilities, with India serving as its base for domestic and global markets. At The Battery Show India 2026, REPLUS Engitech will showcase its ESS, EV and hybrid solutions and discuss its technology and manufacturing plans with customers and industry partners. Shah also linked the company’s next phase of growth with indigenous innovation and the vision of Viksit Bharat.

Suhas Sutar, Chief Business Officer of REPLUS Engitech, highlighted the growing role of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) in meeting demand from commercial and industrial (C&I) consumers. He said businesses across manufacturing, infrastructure and other energy-intensive sectors are increasingly considering BESS to optimise energy costs, manage peak demand and improve power reliability. He also highlighted the potential of artificial intelligence (AI), advanced monitoring and predictive analytics to improve system performance, support informed energy consumption decisions and enhance operational efficiency. As renewable energy adoption increases, BESS can help C&I consumers manage their energy requirements and build more resilient energy infrastructure.

Kaushik Tanti, Co-Founder and COO of REPLUS Engitech, highlighted the different battery technology requirements of electric vehicles, hybrid systems and stationary energy storage. He explained that application requirements are an important starting point for battery development. The company’s focus includes battery design, thermal management and integration with the vehicle or energy system to develop solutions suited to their operating conditions and designed to operate safely and reliably over time.

Organised by Informa Markets India, The Battery Show India serves as a platform for manufacturers, technology providers, engineers and business leaders from the battery, electric vehicle and energy storage sectors. The exhibition will cover developments in battery technology, manufacturing, testing and recycling, offering opportunities for industry participants to exchange knowledge and explore business partnerships.
