eLESSzwei GmbH, a globally operating German company that assists the German government in accomplishing its goals in the area of sustainable development in the infrastructure sector, has partnered with Servotech Power Systems Ltd. to develop and implement cutting-edge 100% solar-powered EV charging infrastructure for micro mobility, such as e-bikes, e-scooters, and e-cargo bikes, in German cities.
The “EnerMAAS” initiative will provide a scalable and sustainable charging ecosystem. To maximize energy utilization and lessen its impact on the environment, it makes use of AI-driven energy management systems. EnerMAAS will concentrate on converting current energy storage and PV systems into cutting-edge street charging stations (BIKE-Ports). These stations will run entirely on solar energy, ensuring rapid and dependable charging all day and all night. With a 3.3 kW total output, each station can charge four two-wheelers at once. The Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK), Germany, has awarded grant funding for this project for a period of 2.7 years.
The production and distribution of these solar-powered EV charging stations will be managed by Servotech. LESS2 will concentrate on all facets of app development including artificial intelligence. The first 100 systems will be supplied by Servotech, and two charging stations will be installed in each of 50 carefully chosen German cities.
Servotech Power Systems Ltd. founder and managing director Raman Bhatia stated, “We are thrilled to collaborate with LESSzwei GmbH on this innovative initiative. This partnership is a perfect fit with Servotech’s goal of strengthening its global presence and speeding up the adoption of sustainable energy solutions. We are certain that the EnerMAAS project will transform how micromobility is powered in German cities by utilizing our knowledge of solar energy and EV charging infrastructure”.
An important step in developing a more effective and sustainable urban transportation system is this alliance. The two businesses are well-positioned to provide a game-changing solution for the expanding German micromobility sector by fusing LESSzwei GmbH’s cutting-edge IT technology and energy management solutions with Servotech’s experience in solar energy and EV charging.
