Statiq, India’s premier EV charging network, has formed a strategic alliance with Bluwheelz, a key player in last-mile delivery. This partnership is set to transform mid-mile and first-mile delivery solutions and significantly impact the electric vehicle landscape in India.

The Indian last-mile delivery sector is on track to hit USD 6-7 billion by 2024, growing at a CAGR of 15.62% from 2022 to 2027. According to a report by BCG Consulting, by FY 2025, 25% of EV sales in India will be driven by the electrification of last-mile delivery fleets. Statiq and Bluwheelz will collaborate to develop critical intercity routes and innovative models, such as solar-powered EVs, enhancing network discoverability and establishing comprehensive charging infrastructure at key customer sites.

Statiq currently operates over 7,000 chargers across 65 cities, including tier 1, tier 2, and tier 3 cities, demonstrating its dedication to EV growth. The company aims to expand this network to 20,000 chargers by 2025, reinforcing its commitment to the future of electric mobility in India.

Bluwheelz has rapidly grown to become a significant player in the EV logistics space, with a strong focus on sustainable and efficient last-mile delivery solutions. Operating in over 20 cities with a fleet of 1,800+ vehicles, Bluwheelz has been at the forefront of adopting innovative models like Rent to Own (RTO) and Driver Cum Ownership (DCO). Their partnership with Statiq will further solidify their position as a leader in the EV ecosystem.

Mr. Akshit Bansal, Founder & CEO, Statiq, remarked, “Our collaboration with Bluwheelz is a perfect fit with our goal of advancing India’s transportation sector. Together, we will create strategic intercity routes and pioneering charging solutions, accelerating the adoption of EVs in last-mile delivery and setting new benchmarks for sustainability and efficiency.”

Mr. Chanpreet Sethi, CEO, Bluwheelz, added, “Partnering with Statiq not only aligns with our sustainability goals but also enhances our operational competence. By integrating Statiq’s extensive EV charging infrastructure, we can ensure that our fleet remains charged and ready to meet the demands of our customers, while significantly reducing our carbon footprint.”

By combining their strengths, Statiq and Bluwheelz are poised to lead the evolution of transportation in India, with a strong focus on environmental sustainability.
